At IDPsych, we are committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care for clients across Illinois and beyond. Some of our licensed therapists participate in PsyPact, a groundbreaking initiative that allows psychologists to provide teletherapy across state lines, expanding access to care for clients who may not be able to attend in-person sessions in Chicago.
What is PsyPact?
PsyPact, short for the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact, is an agreement among participating states that allows licensed psychologists to practice telepsychology across state lines. This means that if you live in a PsyPact member state, you may be able to access therapy from an IDPsych clinician remotely, even if you’re outside Illinois.
The compact ensures:
Legal compliance across participating states
Secure, confidential teletherapy sessions
Access to licensed, trained psychologists who meet PsyPact requirements
Which Therapists at IDPsych Participate?
Some of our licensed psychologists at IDPsych are active participants in PsyPact, meaning they can provide teletherapy to clients residing in other member states. This expands opportunities for high-quality care for individuals who might otherwise face geographical barriers.
If you are interested in teletherapy through PsyPact, our team can help determine eligibility and guide you through scheduling and insurance considerations.
Why Choose IDPsych for Teletherapy
Even through a screen, our therapists maintain the same high standards of care as in-person sessions:
Personalized, evidence-based therapy tailored to your needs
A collaborative and empathetic approach to mental health
Flexible scheduling and ongoing support
